FAQ
What counts as a backtest?
Each test run to completion counts as one. A test that fails doesn't count. Reopening a report already computed is free and unlimited.
What happens when I reach the monthly limit?
You can take a top-up, which adds backtests or AI translations right away, or wait for the 1st of the next month. Everything else stays available: your strategies, your reports, the Live page and the rule builder without AI.
Why are AI translations limited?
Each translation of an idea into rules is computed by an AI model and costs something every time. A limit per plan keeps prices low for everyone. The manual rule builder is unlimited.
Do prices include VAT? Is there a commitment?
Prices shown include VAT. Monthly, you'll be able to stop whenever you want. Yearly, you pay 10 months instead of 12.
Does Backtest Lab tell me what to buy or sell?
No. It's a simulation tool on past data: it gives no investment advice and promises no future gains.
